Zamioculcas zamiifolia, commonly known as the ZZ plant or the Zanzibar gem, is a flowering plant, grown as an ornamental for its glassy foliage and easy maintenance. Being an excellent air purifier, the ZZ plants can tolerate all levels and intensities of light and occasional watering. ZZs have attractive long stems and fleshy leaves arranged in neat pattern. They are resilient, sturdy, can go without water for long (maybe months!) and tolerate low lights making them the better choice for indoor gardens and office spaces! This fast growing, stylish looking plant is perfect for a beginner or busy bees who have little time to give to their plant buddies!
