Ficus Shivereana has beautiful lime green leaves and is a rare plant to find. This is because it is a hybrid form of ‘Ficus Elastica.’ This ornamental plant favours the tropics. Given its latex yielding properties, Ficus elastica family plants are often confused with Pará rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), the main source of latex for the rubber industry
This rubber plant hybrid generally has a thick stem and fleshy, variegated leaves. It is popular and well-known for its fresh light green leathery leaves. The plant belongs to the fig genus Ficus (one of over 700 varieties of ficus plants). This relatively fast-growing plant with size maturity usually between 2-8 feet
