This drought-tolerant plant, which belongs to the genus Aloe and is also known as Alworthia Black Gem. This plant is a perennial evergreen succulent that is used as an ornamental plant primarily for the beauty of its leaves. It may also be grown indoors as a houseplant. The foliage is dark reddish-bronze with conical leaves that get darker and redder in the blazing, all-day light as it grows as a huge, low clump.
